The National University of Kaohsiung 17th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony
The National University of Kaohsiung 17th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony was held on March 25th, 2017 with an outdoor NUK Campus Fair on campus. Students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Macau, Hong Kong, Colombia, and Mainland China all participated in the campus fair and set up food stands to show the diversities of the NUK.
Verities of activities were arranged at the NUK International Conference Hall. Classical Chinese Dance, Pop Song Relay in English, Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, and Overseas Chinese Student Choir performances were performed.
In the afternoon, students all around the world set up their own food stands, introduced their food and sold them to faculty and students on campus. There are 4 stalls were operated by our overseas Chinese students from Hong Kong and Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia, and mainland China respectively. They sold their freshly made popular snacks and drinks of their home countries to visitors, such as skewered satay meats and fried Indomie Mi Goreng made by Indonesian Chinese Students, Kaya toasts by Malaysian Chinese students and Ribena drink by Hong Kong and Macau students. They all contributed efforts to the celebration events while promoting their culture on campus.
