2022 IYSL Online — SDGs Innovation Competition

We are proud to present 2022 International Youth Sustainability Leadership (IYSL).  This online pitch competition welcomes proposals for social design or innovation which respond to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) and seek possible solutions to problems in local communities. With our partners at home and abroad, this competition brings together students, teachers, and local communities to ponder the problems/challenges in the local context and to join efforts to tackle the problems.

THEMES

 
 
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Climate actions and carbon reduction solutions
  • Sustainable Commerce

 

 ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to students currently enrolled in the National UniversitySystem of Taiwan (NUST) and our Asia Virtual Academy (AVA)partners.
  • Team competition with each of 3-5 students.

 

PARTICIPATION

  1. Register by filling the form and submitting a proposal HERE by August 5.

  2. Notification of finalists on August 31.

  3. Finalists submit pitch videos by September 30.

  4. Finalists give pitches by showing videos and answering questions from the judge panel on October 5.

 

PRIZES

 

 

1st Prize: US$2,000 

2nd Prize: US$1,500 

3rd Prize: US$1,200 

Rising Star Prizes: US$600 (3 teams)
