2023-06-07 The National University of Kaohsiung (NUK) entrusted the Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT) and The Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) to conduct the "Higher Education Quality Certification" for the 111 academic year. The recent announcement indicated that a total of 43 degrees across 23 departments/centers within the university have successfully passed the evaluation. The recognized accreditation period extends from the 112 academic year to the 118 academic year, highlighting the excellent quality of education in NUK's diverse degree programs.
The NUK carried out external evaluations (Higher Education Quality Certification) and internal self-assessments to enhance self-evaluation and improvement. Despite pandemic-related delays and hosting the National Intercollegiate Athletic Games, all 23 departments (43 degrees) successfully passed the evaluations.
President Yueh-Tuan Chen expressed gratitude for the hard work of colleagues. The university excelled in aspects such as "departmental development, management, and enhancement," "faculty and teaching," and "students and learning," receiving the highest quality recognition from the assessment association. This highlights the exceptional teaching quality and
student learning outcomes across various departments. The university aims to continue improving and striving for excellence in the future.
