2023-07-05 The National University of Kaohsiung and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in Vietnam recently signed a memorandum of understanding for academic exchange and a student exchange agreement.
The President of the National University of Kaohsiung, Yueh-Tuan Chen, and the Dean of the School of Economics at the University of Economics Ho Chi
Minh City, Bui Thanh Trang, represented both parties in the signing ceremony. Xing-Hao WU, Dean of International Affairs at the National University of Kaohsiung, witnessed the event, and I-Hui Cheng, Director of the International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) Program.
Yueh-Tuan Chen expressed her honor in maintaining a friendly partnership with UEH. Both universities are highly compatible in fields such as economics, management, foreign languages, and law. She further stated that they will continue encouraging students from NUK to apply for exchange programs, aiming to promote cross-cultural learning and broaden international perspectives. This initiative is expected to enhance students' global adaptability and mobility.
The National University of Kaohsiung and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City aim to deepen their exchange and cooperation opportunities by signing the exchange agreement. In the future, both institutions will continue collaborating to promote academic and cultural exchanges, share teaching resources, and expand the avenues for cross-border learning for students from both universities.
