The students from National University of Kaohsiung (NUK) do charity work as tutors through the internet to improve the academic achievement of students in Taiwan’s remote areas every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
NUK implements the “Digital Tutor Program” which held by the Ministry of Education from 2015, and 52 students in Taiwan’s remote areas made big progress after the tutorial. This year, 88 students in Taiwan’s remote areas were included in this program; they were happy to meet their tutors every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon through internet. The tutors also gained a great sense of accomplishment after they assist these students.
