With the notion of providing foreign students better understanding of Taiwanese culture and life style during the track of study, the National University of Kaohsiung joined 2017 Taiwan Host-family Program and arranged a Taiwanese Community Sightseeing outing for non-Taiwanese students studied at NUK on March 18th, 2017.

With 54 participants, including host-families, foreign and overseas Chinese students, the outing was arranged to visitMeinong Hakka Cultural Museum and Chishan Old Street.

Through brief introduction to one of Taiwanese local cultures, the NUK hopes that the students are able to know the nature of Taiwan more and appreciate cultural diversities in Taiwan.
