Ki-Ming Zhou Huang, Yu-Wen Tseng, and Chih-Wei Yeh, students of Department of Applied Physics of National University of Kaohsiung (NUK), invented the “adiabatic pastry decorating bag”; it helps a beginner work like a senior baker!

The traditional pastry decorating bags are made from mostly plastic or silicone material, non-thermal, so that the cream rapid melting by the temperature of hand. Beginners usually unable to overcome these features extruding paste and destroying the cake appearance.

The idea of adiabatic pastry decorating bag was originated from vacuum thermos bottle; a three-layer and heat-insulation bubble wrap was contained. The improvements include delaying cream melting time, easy extrusion, soft grip; best of all the users do not have to change the technique. Using adiabatic pastry decorating bag, the beginner can make a beautiful cake like a senior baker.
