Quality Education Partnerships for the Goals

2023-06-16 As the university semester is about to end, coinciding with the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the Office of International Affairs of NUK prepared delicious meat (and vegetarian) rice dumplings on the 15th in advance. Invite overseas students to enjoy meals and care about their academic studies and school life.

Dean of International Affairs Xing-Hao Wu repeatedly emphasized the importance of safety outside. Especially for overseas students staying in Taiwan and working part-time, they should check the legality and safety of their work to spend their summer vacation happily.

Hsing-Hao Wu stated that among the overseas students studying at NUK, there are 232 undergraduate students and 20 exchange students, many of whom are from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries. This reflects the university's active cooperation with the government's successful promotion of The New Southbound Policy.

Furthermore, in March of this year (2023), the "International Foundation Program" was established, aiming to provide a foundation for overseas students who are interested in studying but have no prior knowledge of the Chinese language. After studying for one year and passing the test, the students can apply for admission according to the application department.
