Opening Ceremony of NUK Representative office in Medan
NUK representative office in Medan was open on 29th April, 2018. The vice president Mr. Sam Lien and Dean of International Affairs Mr. Derrick Ting attended the opening ceremony to witness the historical moment.
The president Mr. Leon Wang is not allowed to attend the ceremony because of other agenda, but he prepared a video for the opening speech. He thanks our alumni Ms. Olivia for the contribution with no return, without her assistant, we could not set up an office in Medan successfully and consummately.
The vice president said that it was the first time he visit to Medan, the things that impressed him was the language in Medan, Indonesia Chinese is speaking “Hokian”, which is similar to “Taiwanese”. This makes him feel no sense of distance between Taiwan and Indonesia.
