IMBA International Students Visit Suzuka Circuit to Experience Taiwan's Tourism and Leisure Industry
In response to the mayor of Kaohsiung to promote the local tourism industry, IMBA teachers and students visited the "Suzuka Circuit" in cooperation with Taiwan and Japan on December 21. Students asked various issues such as marketing plans and cross-industry alliance.
The IMBA director of NUK, Yung-Kai Yang is the planner of this event. He described that the participating students are mainly foreigners student from the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mongolia, Paraguay, Colombia and other countries. The visit was organized as an "International Business Management" course. Students can get connect in the industry and combine the theory which learnt from the course.
The operator indicated that Suzuka Circuit is part of the Taroko Park. It is the only overseas authorized theme park at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan. One of the highlights is the narrowing of the Karting track.
The operator also shared business practices to IMBA team. They regularly work with travel agencies and Internet access, or work with a variety of businesses to launch discount promotions.
IMBA students had a good experience of driving the car. Two of them, Juan David Duran Suarez from and Colombia amd Jorge David Torres from Paraguay, drove a go-kart and enjoyed the thrill of driving.
Wu Huang-yang, a Vietnamese student, indicated that there are similar large amusement parks in Halong Bay, which is in the northeast of Vietnam, but there is no exclusive track. Therefore, Suzuka Circuit is very attractive to Southeast Asian tourists.
