2023-04-26 NUK EMBA recently launched an international mobile learning course. The students went to Vietnam to visit PERFECT MEDICAL INDUSTRY CO. LTD. and many alumni Taiwanese businessmen NUK. They not only consulted the alumni the experience to cultivate the local business for many years, but also exchanged the current situation of the industry and economics and future development trends to learn the latest and valuable business information.

NUK EMBA group was led by the president of National University of Kaohsiung, Yueh-Tuan Chen, with the Director of EMBA Center Ming-Chang Weng, CEO Chih-Min She and Ting-Lin Li and the members of EMBA.

During the 5-day trip from the 19th to the 23rd of this month, they visited Shun-Chieh Hsu, the deputy general manager of "PERFECT MEDICAL INDUSTRY CO. LTD.", a manufacturer of masks and other medical supplies and equipment. And the General manager of Chienta BOLT Shu-Li Lin, Wei-Chun Li. Deputy general manager of "VPIC", a major manufacturer of bicycles, heavy machinery parts and frames. Finally, they visited Cheng-Jen Chen, chairman of the tile leader "Vinbizlink".

Yueh-Tuan Chen said that Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam demonstrate the spirit of hard work in Taiwan, and they are also one of the epitomes of Taiwanese businessmen who passed on the industry in the 1990s to expand their territory and continue the lifeline of the enterprise. It is admirable to show wisdom and resilience despite hardships. Therefore, Cheng-Jen Chen and Shu-Li Lin were awarded NUK Outstanding Alumni, and they deserved their names.

“PERFECT MEDICAL INDUSTRY CO. LTD.” and other 4 senior executives are all the alumni of NUK IEMBA. They warmly received teachers and students, and shared their business model, innovative ideas, organizational culture, and even the Vietnamese government's response to the "COVID-19 pandemic" related policies such as "三就地" without hiding their wits.

Taiwanese business alumni all emphasized that whether it was the "May 13 Anti-Chinese Incident" that broke out in 2014 or the pandemic in the past three years, the company has survived with one heart and one mind. Regardless of Taiwanese or Vietnamese nationality, it must be localized. In particular, it is necessary to establish a sense of organizational identity and vision to establish a tacit understanding of teamwork and abandon the previous high-pressure military-style management model.

NUK Director of EMBA Center, Ming-Chang Weng, indicated that EMBA Center is committed to providing high-quality educational resources and learning opportunities. This international mobile learning is extremely rewarding, regardless of academics or networking. It provides students with a channel to connect with Vietnamese and Taiwanese businessmen and friends. Especially through on-site visits and face-to-face exchanges, they can broaden their horizons and increase their talents. At the same time, it will lay a more stable foundation for future career development and even business cooperation.
